Here's some art I made for my cab a few years ago, only seat 1 and 2 I'm afraid. As far as I can tell they are pretty accurate.

I have a vinyl cutter so I cut them with that, looked real nice on the seat!

Here's my setup with Daytona, Scud Race, Ridge Racer 2 and Outrun demos :
WARNING: The video somehow got away from me and turned into a 25 minute epic!  :-X

For those wondering, to get all the effects working correctly in Daytona I had to set the clutch effect in nebula ini to 0.5

Now I can feel all car impacts, wall hits and grass vibration perfectly, every time  ^-^

Ok well RV3 works fine but RV2 doesn't change anything  >:(

I changed it for a new pot and still is constantly at full power. I need two hands to pull it all the way round!! It does measure the correct 12.5v when I adjust it.

I guess something is blown or incorrect with my circuit. It couldn't be due to the 10uf cap on the clutch output?

Aaahh got it  ^-

That's for clutch power?

I will have a go at adjusting them then  ;)

You can adjust the power between right and left with rv2 or rv3, be carefull, you must never adjust under 12,5v.

They are both already at 12.5v exactly.

It sounds like the clutch is locking completely as there is no "washing machine" sound when I turn the wheel to the right and it's very hard to turn? It's fine when I turn left.

Adjusting RV4 doesn't make it much less powerful on that side.

One more quick question, the feedback is very strong in one direction but feels a softer in the other. What should I adjust to fix this? The strong direction actually feels too strong, like the clutch is locking up.

As I understand, I should be keeping the pots at the same levels?

The 10uf cap did it  ^-^

WOW it's powerful!! I'm going to have to play with the settings but it works great, thanks!!  :-)=

I'll upload a video soon to youtube with the results.

Thanks again aganyte  :-*

I have pins 1-3 and 5-7 bridged where U7 should be, is that right for normal operation?

Also, should R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8, R9, R10, R15 be 220 ohms or 220k? There is conflicting information in this thread!

I built this circuit and got it all hooked up today finally  8)

I have a problem though.

It all seems to function correctly and I set the pots at 20v and 12.5v but the clutch is very soft. It hardly grips at all. The motor doesn't seem to be strong either.

All the feedback effects seem to be correct, just very weak.

Adjusting RV4 does nothing at all. I replaced TIP122 and no change.

When I measure the clutch directly it's 2v and goes down to 1.6v when in use. My wires are about 1 1/2 to 2 feet long, is that acceptable? I did shorten the clutch cable to no effect.

Would it make a difference if my logitech motor cable is very long? It's under the seat in my cab while the L2M2 is behind the wheel.

Any ideas?  :'(

Ah thank you  <:)

I will check back later then once it's tested, although I can etch my own PCBs so I might have a go with it myself  ;)
