hello and sorry for my newbie questions !
![Sad :(](http://www.gamoover.net/Forums/Smileys/guntar/sad.gif)
I bought a JPAC last month, I'm building my own arcade-mame now :)
I have'nt understand 1 or 2 things on the JPAC, i bought the PS/2 one.
1) when JPAC is on and PC connected, how is the normal status of the 2 LEDS
? mine, the green and the yellow are lighted on, the 2 LEDS are on is it
normal ? I didn't see my answer on the FAQ.(it tells about sync led on, but
not about full status of the 2 leds).
If everything is working, both LEDs should be lit, yes.2) their are 2 ports on the JPAC one named PC Keyb/USB and the second one
keyboard ..... where do I have to connect the PS2 keyboard port of my PC
into the JPAC ? on the PC Keyb/USB port or the Keyboard port ? and when it
s connected what is the function of the second port ? ( if for exemple ,
keyboard port is connected to PC, what is the function of Keyb/USB ?)
Key/USB is the port for the cable to the PC, to either the keyboard port or
USB port. The other port is for the keyboard.3) I have installed omnicad ( the autoinstall iso), when I boot the PC ,
the screen is divided in 2 parts during Dos boot Mode ( when u can see IRQs
etc , is it correct ? how can i fix this...because I put the arcmon.sys)
and after when omnicade or advance mame should start ... nothing appears,
except horrors, many colors etc ...I'm asking myself if the JPAC is broken
or not (what can i do to verify ?) do u have an idea ?
It is not the J-PAC. Your system is not configured to send 15Khz to the
monitor. This is a software or VGA card issue.should my problems be solved with ArcadeVGA card ??
Yes, this would simply work right away.really sorry but i m lost even with the help of forums !
