In this forum thread I'll upload the process of restoration my Sega TouringCar cabinet I hope like you.
-Restoration Daytona steering wheel:After making a successful test of hacking of steering wheel, the first thing I did was to clean the steering wheel and remove the rust that it had.
Here I leave the state when I arrived:

I started by removing all the rust with the help of a wire brush and in the most difficult places I used a Dremel tool with a brush:

You can see in the picture below before of brushing and after brushing:

Then I sanded the complete surface with a sandpaper of grit 400 and I painted with spray of color Chrom Silver.Only I gave a layer because is hidden inside the cabinet simulator and it,s the result:

Also I cleaned the two belts with a cloth dipped in water before mounting the metal chassis of the wheel.
Now it,s like new:
-Restoration of top part:Billboard and support of power supply, amplyfier ,etc.:Like the billboard and marquee were in good conditions only I cleaned the dust of them:

Finally it is shiny:

The support of power supply ,amplifier etc,was very dirty:

I cleaned the support of wood and inside of three metal parts, two sides and a front more the door.
The outside metalic part was in good condition and only I cleaned:

But the inside was very dirty and I had to printed with spray paint(Metalic Grey)the three parts:

The resulted is this:

The metalic door was very rusted:

A part of metalic door sand it and other part without sand:

And I had to sanded and also printed it:
Complete Pedals Restauration:When I bought the machine the pedals had this aspect:

First I disassembled the pedals:

And the other base under of pedals:

I cleaned, removed all the rust and and then I painted it:

After I began with the other base of pedals:

I did the process itself like the other base. This is the resulted:

Also I painted the pedals protection:

And also I painted the screws of pedals base:

After I dissambled the two pedals, first the brake pedal:

And then the accelerator pedal:

Then I bought a metal plate slip in Leroy Merlin:

I cut two pieces of sheet metal with the shape of the pedals and I sticked to the surface of the pedals:

Then I mounted all parts of pedals in the base:

The last I did went the support of the feet.I remove the part of rubber:

And I placed two pieces of sheet metal like in the pedals:

At the end the complete resulted it,s this:
-Restauration of blue support and glass mask:The glass mask had rests of the sticker:

And I cleaned with hot water.
Also the botton blue support was a little rusty and some parts had no paint:

And I painted with blue spray:

At the end this it,s the resulted:
-Adjust of Daytona Steering Wheel in the cabinet:It has been a hard work but at the end I have get.
First this was the aspect of support of Original steering wheel:

I removed with a grinder all supports of wires:

And then I painted:

After I use four strong squadrons like this to hold it:

Before I marked and cutted a part of wood to move out the full steering wheel because needed to get a little out the axle:

After I put two little squadrons to avoid tipping up of support when I put the steering wheel at the front:

But after to do all this the axle need exit more out:

I had to cut a partof body of Steering wheel because has a right angle and the control panel and the blue support are in chamfer:

Also I had to cut the part metalic of buttons and the paret metalic of gear lever. The rest of chasis had to remove:

At the end It adjusted perfectly:

The body of Steering wheel is lash down with two screws:

-Fit the Led Monitor of 39 inches in the cabinet:This is the hole of screen:

Like the LED monitor would not fit in the hole I had to cut the parts marked in red color:

I disconnected the two tweeters of the two side tables:

Here the two tables to cut:

After I did a template to get the perfect position of Led monitor:

Also I had to cut a part of the base because the monitor would not fit:

I placed a backing in the middle of the base and in the sides of the base:

Then I used these squadrons to attach the monitor to the cabinet:

And I also used two pieces of wood to fit the Led monitor:

Also I put in the base masking tape to avoid to the sawdust it comes off:

At the end it fitted the Led Monitor of this way in the cabinet:

And this is the final resulted:

-Restoration of coin tower:This was the aspect of coin tower:

This was the aspect of the doors of coin tower before of paint:

And this after of paint them:

And also painted the tower:

This is the coin :

And the box the coin:

Then remove the coin slot and did a system using a switch to give credits only with introduce the coins:

At the end the complete resulted after of put the two yellow locks:
-Restoration of Panel:The panel of Sega Touring cabinet had this aspect:

I repaired all cigarrete burns with poliester mastic that it,s used to repair the bodywork of the cars:

After I connected the wires of buttoms and gear lever:

Then I put Vinilo Carbono 4D Brillo 80x152cm and sticked in the panel.I can´t stick of a piece because the panel had a lot curves and went imposible.Only I could stick it by parts but not differ much near joints. At the end I like the resulted,It,s see pretty well of near:

If anyone want buy that vinilo,it,s cheap and he has a quality very nice.
I bought this Vinilo Carbono 4D Brillo 60x152cm by 23,60 shipping included:
http://www.vinilopasion.com/productos/vinilo-carbono-4d-brillo-60x152cmI think to if I had had a air heater maybe I could had put all the vinilo of a piece but I doubt because the panel had enough curves.
-Put secuencial change in the cabinet: I have adapted the secuencial change of a Sega Grand Prix steering wheel to my sega TouringCar this:

This the front part:

And this back part:

And this side face:

This it,s the complete secuencial change with all parts:

Then I painted with yellow spray the two parts yellow and with spray black metalic the other part:

Like I only had 7 cm between the steering wheel and the panel,I had to remove the last piece black of secuencial change because doens´t enter:

I had to do a new piece with a piece of sheet with this form. Also I had to do a hole more big with a pallet drill of 22mm in the secuencial change because the hole was more small that the axis of steering wheel:

Then I used a cheet to do the base of buttoms:

The buttoms led have five connections + and - of led buttom then NO to + of buttom and C to - of buttom. The other connection NC doesn´t use:

Then I bought a set of males of Metrica 6(drill of 5mm)to screw the two screws to the steering wheel:

At the end the resulted had been this:

-Restoration complete of the seat:The aspect of base of seat was this:

The base was very rusted:

I removed the rust with a drill and a wire brush:

And then I painted:

And Also I put a metallic plate:

After I unmounted the first base:

I also removed the rust:

And I painted it:

After I did process itself with the second metallic base taht hold the side rails of seat:

Under of seat is the subwoofer:

Then I unmounted the rear seatback:

The rear seatback was hold with six clamps:

Also in the rear seatback was the two speakers, left and right:

This went the paint cabin improvised:

And these the materials that I used more aguaplash paste that doens´t appears in the next image:

First I began with the seat, giving aguaplash paste to all damages:

After I gave white sealer primer to all the seat for palster after the yellow paint:

And then I painted giving two hands of yello paint in spray and after of dry the paint I gave other two hands of transparent varnish.

I did the process itself with the seatback:
-Creation of base of seat:I did a base for the seat because it hadn´t.
I used a metal platesto join the five parts that make up the base of seat:

I had to go adapting the metal plates to the inclination of each part:

After I covered the metal paltes with a layer of aguaplash plaste and I add two woods joined with two metal plates to the part of front:

Then I buy by 6 euros this piece of polipiel:

And this piece of foam also by 6 euros:

I holded a piece of foam with size itself that the base of seat:

Then I hissed the edges:

And holded other piece of foam a bit more small for to centre of seat:

After I used a manual staplerat stapling all around the end the aspect of upholstered seat is this:

Like yet was a bit hard when I sit down I put a piece of foam more under the base in the back and now it,s very comfortable:

Also like as I remained various parts of the metal plate I put them on the base:

At the end the final resulted it,s this:

Here you go two videos of my Simulator Sega Touring Car finished.I hope like you
