can you put some video or picture of the issue .
I find it strange that suddendly you have nothing .
I do not know if the cab is like the one we have but normally you have 3 light Red green blue . It would be strange that all 3 goes dead together. In some cases it is a board in the screen that is dead . By hitting the test button or adjust button on the screen you can get something .

possibly lifetime of lamps (there must be a hidden menu to check life hours remaining..) as on every rear projector....   luckily it wouldnt be too difficult to replace such screen by a modern Lcd.

Tortue near Paris had some problems of broken screen on his HOD4DLX,  but dont know what specific thing he had to solve  (the seller repaired it or replaced the screen)

This type of cab doesn't have 3 lamps like the old retro, but just one lamp....
So if the lamp is dead you cannot see anything...
I was told by many to change the lamp, so yesterday i've ordered a replacement....
Let's see if this will fix the problem.....

I don't know this exactly.....

Yes, i read that someone replace that screen with a 51" plasma....
I just don't know if this type of solution will fit correctly with no gap inside the cab.

Some news =?=
The other day a friend comes to see the tv, since he works with electronic from 30 years.
We dismount the tv and do some measurements with the tester.
We just found that:
-The lamp button is working correctly, because if i don't push it i got green light flashing on the lamp led.
-Both fan spins and works correctly when we switch on the tv.
-On the power board we have 390v on the output, so it should be ok.
-On output of the lamp power board we got nothing.....
We remove lamp and put the tester into the the power board output and we got no volts, nothing...
Don't know if there's something prevent this, but just seems to produce no voltage on the output....
All the time the tv have the power led red.
Then i switch on the tv using the remote or using the key on the front panel, and the power led become orange and start flashing, then after some times just come back to red.
When this happen, both fans stop spinning.....
All seems to be working perfectly fine, so i just don't know what's going on.....
